You just know that every year, there is ONE artist who turns it up at MTV's VMA Awards. Their performance is EVER-Y-THING, and we can't keep their names out of our mouths the next day.
Well, this year it was, who guessed, it - BEY. Despite all the rumors, her hubby and sis beefing in the elevator, the "they getting a divorce when the tour ends" nonstop nonsense, Bey did what she does best - perform that ass off!

Bey performed a medley of songs from her 2104 self-titled album, including "Partition," "Yonce," "Flawless" and "XO." At one point, she even had a feminist statement from Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adie flash across the screen in bold letters with the word, "FEMINIST," in the background.
Her performance gave me life, and it's easy to see why she got the VMA's Michael Jackson Video Van Guard of the Year Award. She is a true entertainer. Period. I loved how she dedicated the award to her family, who joined her lovingly on stage at the end as Jay called her the "best entertainer" and presented her with the award.
A few tears streamed down Bey's face and she kissed Jay and Blue at the end of her performance.
She looked so happy.
Blue's dancing debut
Blue Ivy was all cute and looking adorable, sporting that FRO, of course, Blue was even rocking and singing along as Mommy did her thing on stage to "Drunk in Love," and "Flawless." That is her Momma's child! And she mouthed, "Go Mommy!" in the mic while on stage.
No matter you feel about the Carters, that was a great entertainment moment. Now go let folks hate on that!
Blue dancing during "Flawless." See that hand?
