From the WTH files ... BGLH.com reports that kinky weave companies are ripping off naturals' hair photos on Instagram and using them on THEIR site to sell THEIR hair products. Imagine that. SMH!
Instagram naturals Leanora (SunShine_726) and Beedoelv say their hair photos were stolen and used in an ad for “virgin Mongolian” extensions. The ads from a Chinese hair company portray their hair as the weave for sale.

I say we flip it on 'em and don't support these foul business practices. If they'll rip off someone's photos, imagine what they'll do to the hair that many of us are buying. I'm as happy as anyone to see that kinky hair is in such demand, but not at this cost.
It's stealing and it's not right. These companies are checking for our hair ... and not in a good way. They buy what sells, folks. And they know kinky hair is popular. I got at as much when I went into a beauty supply store one day and the Asian woman complimented my curls.
Please, if you can, support Black-owned hair companies selling kinky hair. It's just something wrong about how others are ALWAYS able to profit from selling OUR kinky hair and we aren't!
