Sheryl Underwood Slams Natural Hair

Comedian Sheryl Underwood says some rather controversial comments about natural hair. Just watch the video. I'll say this: I hate when natural hair is the butt of jokes -- especially when it's in front of a national audience.

When we mock natural hair in front of a natural audience -- while at the same time affirming straight hair -- it sends the wrong message. I like Underwood's brand of comedy, but she's wrong for this one. Perhaps she's trying to get her 15 minutes of fame with natural hair? I'm just going to say that it looks weird, given that she's wearing a headful of someone else's hair.
